Donate Time
BDI has volunteer group opportunities (10-25) to help clients in our training program to complete jobs on our workfloor and help with special projects, including painting, framing, and grounds beautification. Smaller groups (3-5) are needed to mentor high school students with disabilities in our Explorers program. BDI also offers a limited number of ongoing opportunities for volunteers to conduct mock interviews, develop job leads, and compile success stories. Criminal background check required for some opportunities. Date and time are flexible, but must occur within BDI office hours, which are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information on volunteering at BDI, contact Dave Pass at 678-365-2260 or by e-mail at dave.pass@bobbydodd.org.
"I feel very strongly that teaching a person how to perform a job in the workplace is extremely important to that person's self-esteem. I've been impressed by the leadership and the staff at Bobby Dodd Institute, who do such a great job accomplishing their mission."
- John Weitnauer, BDI Board Member
